Under 11                                Squad Report AGM 2009

The U11 team, which included some very young players, had matches against Somerset winning 31-5, Avon 27-9 and drawing with Devon 18 all. Many of them also played in open tournaments.

The team included David Higbee, Jamie Turner, Jacob Mayer, Gavin Chi-Shek, Callum Stuart, Charlie Sawyer, Natasha Kingsley, Tara Guscott, Lizzie Moore, Bernice Doré, Sophie Males, Elisha Eames and Sophie Sawyer.

Last but not least we should mention Ciara Lindsay who is the new U11 National Champion and was chosen to represent England in Belgium during the Easter holidays. Her dad has had to build some new shelves for all her trophies !

Margaret would like to thank Paul Breakwell for his help on the Jersey trip. For the ninth year running Dorset brought the Carlton Shield home from this event. Thanks should also go to Mark Lever for all his hard work at Sunday training sessions and to Wendy Streets for her help at training and tournaments.

The Neville Winters shield will be presented to Lynnlette Aung and Ben Mynors-Wallis.
