 The aim of the Dorset Badminton Association is to assist and develop badminton at a junior level in the county, producing talented players able to bring success to the county at junior and senior level and play for England if the desire, talent and dedication is shown.

 Well done to our Dorset County U15 team who travelled to Crewkerne last Sunday for a match against Somerset. Having started the match 5-0 down due to player illness we clawed the score back to 8-4 in our favour with Jack MacGregor fighting for every point in his very tight three-setter against Chris Pang and eventually winning 21-17 in the third.
Good play continued and we managed to take 11 out of the 18 doubles, with the highlight of the day being our 1st string girls doubles pairing Chloe Wakely and Bernice Dore beating the very strong experienced partnership and gold ranked Jenny Naylor and Helen O'Rourke in two sets. Dorset claimed the match 22-14.
