County Squad Training

We are very fortunate to have a thriving senior county badminton set up with plenty of clubs, leagues and training opportunity’s.

During the badminton season, we hold training sessions on a monthly basis (excluding holidays) and encourage all levels of players to come along and enjoy a fun and competitive session.

Our monthly sessions are held at the following venue:

The Leaf Academy
Duck Lane
Bournemouth
Dorset
BH11 9JJ

The season runs traditionally from September – March where we provide training sessions for players of any ability.

25-26 training location and dates to be confirmed.

The training sessions include players ranging from the best in Dorset to strong club players who wish to take their badminton to the next level. The season is based around the ICC weekends and our programme allows the coaches to work with each team to improve partnerships, techniques, tactics and team spirit.

Our training sessions are run by Badminton England Qualified Coaches who hold a current DBS and First aid certificate.
